Meet Mrs. Wilson

   

    After being born and raised in Colorado I went on to receive my teaching degree in Special Education from Calvin College.  Following graduation I followed Gods lead to the Philippines to teach at Faith Academy in Manilla.  

    Colorado and my family drew me back home and I began teaching at Cherry Hills Christian School.  I began in Kindergarten and then moved up to Second Grade where I stayed for 7 years. During that time I met and married the love of my life, Adam.  The birth of our oldest son, Evan, led to the decision for me to step into the part time role of Enrichment teacher at Cherry Hills.  This time has been a blessing and I have greatly enjoyed the challenge of teaching the Explore classes and advancing the programs for gifted students at Cherry Hills.  Last year our youngest son, Chase, entered full time school so I was able to join the preschool two days a week and work in the Kindergarten Enrichment class.  What a wonderful opportunity this was for me to work with Kindergarten again! This year I am excited to explore a new area of education in addition to teaching my classes for the elementary.  I have been invited to work with the preschool teachers as their coach.  This will be a learning experiene for me, and I am excited for this new challenge and opportunity!

As a family we enjoy spending time at the park, camping, and the zoo.  

In my spare time I enjoy reading, baking, and just spending time with my precious family.
